SW DEVELOPER

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Software Developer will be responsible for developing software applications and tools; integrating commercial software products into a complex large scale system; testing of software components, programs, applications and databases; tuning of commercial applications and developed tools to optimize performance; and, resolution of discrepancies as reported by the test team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Experience to perform all roles and responsibilities in a self-initiated manner. Software Engineering background with strong application integration skills. Knowledge of databases and data structures, Oracle a plus. Basic Understanding of knowledge representation and data modeling. Conversant in UML. Programming in Java, C++, and PERL. Experience working with XML and XSLT. Experience working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems. Clear and effective communicator - verbal and written.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other Technical Field and 3-6 years directly related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education credentials.
